Well that time of the year where I forget what to write when it asks for 'date' on forms has come once more. What a year it was!

The best memories of last year:
* Naked fun time and web servers!
* Starting Grad School with Brenda. We're FINALLY there, chica!
* Meeting Jess and Jude at Dcon for the first time. Nothing compares to them in real life.
* My brother moving into his own house. Who knew after 18 years of terrorizing me, he'd be a responsible human being?! Weiiird.
* Getting a book cover published for *blacksent's first book. Thanks Michael, you guys have really been a pleasure to work with and have given me opportunities I never would have had otherwise.

This year's resolutions which I endeavor to keep:
* Start looking for a REAL job. I've only got 7 months of school left.
* Start making a budget for myself that doesn't exist only in my mind
* Start writing on some of those stories that have been sitting in my the back of my brain for years. I've been thinking about publishing my own illustrated stories and that won't happen unless I cool off the art for awhile and start writing seriously.
* Finish some of my computer paintings that have been sitting on my hard drive forever (like [link] , [link] , and [link] )
* Reach 40 sit-ups a day (I'm up to 30 already)
* READ more books! I swear I've completely lost my writer's vocabulary these days. I've got about 40 books in the closet waiting to be read.

I hope you all had a good one. We set off fireworks in my boyfriend Kev's apartment's playground, made Wassle, and watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and The Eye. But the most fun was to being together with good friends who I would normally never see. That means more to me than any of those simple pleasures...even the pure ecstasy that is Assassin's Creed on Xbox 360.

And so, I leave you with fading thoughts of sugarplums, Bootstrap's Bootstraps, and an assassin with a really angsty American accented voice.
