An idea I've had for awhile that didn't see fruition until *lockstock's stock and the new `ArtistsForCharity Winter Contest spurred me on. I think those are the best wings I've done in a long time! This will be transferred to sparkly red cardstock and colored with Prismacolor Pencils HOPEFULLY before November 1st (we'll seeXD).
I'm thinking white/offwhite velvety gown (with dark green trim), white and red poinsettias, a golden sheer shawl, red blanket in her arms (with gold accents), and white wings with golden tips. It's going to be too much fun to color
Any suggestions anyone? Ah Fall Breaks are goooood. More sketches to come soon as I've had a couple of days off to get back to the arting.
But tomorrow I go back to the research report grind, so enjoy this brief bit of artiness from me.

Watch the sleeves, look a bit stiff...unless the garment is such. And the veil...I kinda think the veil could be a bit more flowy and less structured. But it's all up to your personal interpretation of the image in your head, really. Other than that, all good! Looking forward to the coloured. -- I read your mind like an open book You've lost the fire in your eyes   And then it's raining Oh no, tears are falling That's do pretty. I'd love to see it in colour.
